How many dropped passes did Tennessee have in the first half? Our "good" first half defensive performance would have looked a lot different if they actually caught the ball.
Drops were a big key to our defensive success early - I said repeatedly that if they figured out how to catch the ball, it would be a different game. Lo and behold, they figured out how to catch the ball and we looked silly. Still could have won a shootout with one positive break (waited all night for them to snap the ball over the QB's head but it never quite happened) or one less negative break (make one FG, recover one fumble).
