while this is true i'm not so sure how much "self fulfilling prophecy" is going on here.. e.g. high calibur recruits see school X with high recruiting class and want to be a part of it

Well, it's obviously crappier than Duke's since they've beaten us, what, the last 3 years. The fonts on here that disparage Duke need to clearly explain why we've lost to them so much lately. Bunch of freakin elitists.

Your logic board seems to have blown a fuse. When did I ever say that we were more talented than FSU?

If we play FSU 100 times, maybe we win 10.

If we play Vandy 100 times, we probably win 90.

We lost to a team who might very well make the national championship game again and we lost to a good #15 Miami team, a middling Pitt team, ööööing Duke, UNC, VT, and UGA. But hey! We beat UVA and GS! That's an upward record trajectory! 5 wins!
