- An embarrassing home blowout loss to Alabama...a game that was never in question.

- A more-embarrassing blown lead to a dismally weak UT team

- And now...a complete, total debacle against the rival team with a first year coach, another game that was never in doubt.

These embarrassing losses, all with NFL talent on both sides of the ball.

It's time to fire Coach Mark Richt.

If CPJ wants to "save" this season, beating Georgia in the finale as the final straw that gets Richt the coaching dirt nap would do it.

Would GT be better off with Richt as our coach or Johnson?...ponder that for a bit.

Correct. Especially since he is 12-2 vs his instate rival.

And jeepers - losing to teams like bama / ut / uf is disgusting. It is not like they are powerhouse ranked teams like unc, puke and uva. No way he would have as good as a 2-5 record vs us, vt, or um.

Fire his azz, much less anyone with a less outstanding record.

You are an idiot.

That's an easy one. Johnson.

1) Richt would never come to a school like Tech because he wouldn't be able to recruit anybody. A small percentage of Georgia players would be allowed to play for Tech even if they wanted to.
2) The way his teams compete for the Fulmer cup every year, Richt would be fired within 2 years by Tech if by some miracle he did come here and the Hill allowed him to recruit Georgia players.
3) Richt would essentially be Gailey minus Tenuta's defense.

Pretty much all of this... Johnson or a guy like him works at tech, Richt, Dabo or any other type do not.

Bobby Ross says hello.

Different era and did we all forget the part where he left and took the Chargers to a Super Bowl?

I might okay with being a stopover for an overachieving coach on the way to a dream job, but I think the ego of most of the fan base wouldn't be able to handle it.

Definitely Johnson. Richt is only a very mediocre coach IMO. The fact that they usually have 10+ win seasons is due primarily to all the talent they have, not the coaching. If that talent was coached properly, they should be up there with Alabama.
