He's the most prolific RB in the state.
Best RB in the state? That's subjective, and Bigsby and Marks are rated higher.

He looks great, but Dalton plays in a pretty weak region.

I’d say he’s in the discussion. 247 already has him higher than Marks. Rivals/composite will follow suit after rivals next round of re-rating players.

Okay. Point still stands. Look at the film of the Top 10 RBs and compare them to Gibbs. His tape holds up with any of them.

I'm not saying he's not a great pickup for us. We need his athleticism and speed. With some OL line depth and size, he will be getting those runs for us.

He’s better than both and will be rated higher than both more than likely

Harrison is a good team with a shot to go deep into the playoffs.
He ran for over 200 on them.
His offers compared to the other backs in the state tell the story.
This kid is the best back in the state and if he’s not a 5 star by the end of the season it’s a failure by scouting services everywhere.

Probably won’t jump Bigsby. Not saying he shouldn’t, just probably won’t. Very likely will jump Marks.

what's not subjective is the fact that we'd have no chance at any backs of this calibre under the TO. thank god that thing is gone.

He could not help me. You see, I have a structured settlement and I need cash now.

    Mind not rite.

We hope Jayson joins the family, and he and Jahmyr both get drafted out of Tech in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.

Gibbs isn't likely to sign until February and we are still his leader. If you're going to obsess over him, you've got a rough 3.5 months ahead.

Yeah, everyone needs to calm down. No one player changes your program. Someone mentioned Calvin: he was a sure thing, he was/is a HOF and he didn't change the program.

Yeah, I though this was the best takes in the thread so far:

As we saw on Saturday, we are in pretty good shape at RB, as we should be given our previous offense. What's important is locking down the big boys on both lines. Would be nice to get a big name RB recruit, but won't the end of the world if we don't.

I'm just glad to be back in the hunt for guys like this, it's been awhile.

He’ll be a five star only if he commits elsewhere :lol2:
