His body language and lack of facial expressions/attitude always bothered me. He always looks like he is wondering where he is and how he got there. The dude will then throw an interception in a crucial moment and walk off with the expression like nothing just happened.
This was a big pet peeve of mine (and also Tevin Washington who would look indifferent after getting stopped on 4th down).

Tevin was just a cool cat that didn't get flustered. He was tough as nails though. Big difference between poise (Tevin) and nonchalant (Sims).
Jeff Sims best year was worse than Tevin's worst. If Tevin had had Sims natural gifts he'd have been a star. 2012 Tevin had top 3 ACC QBR and came in at 31st in the country. https://www.espn.com/college-football/qbr/_/season/2012/group/1

Disagree. I didn't like his body language after he made mistakes. I'd classify him as nonchalant and Jeff Sims as disinterested. I think Tevin's nonchalant attitude led to the team losing 1 games per year over his tenure. He was a good QB, but could've been great if he'd had a bit more competitive fire. That wasn't his personality, though, which is a quality you need out of your QB. You don't need an outspoken QB, buy if you aren't vocal then you better be intense. Frankly, I want that out of every player on my team: a bunch of dudes who HATE losing and will grit their teeth, focus, and play better when they are behind.

We'll see if Haynes King has that fire in him.

King was raised by his football head coach dad to be a team player, work hard, and have discipline. He has the fire in him

He runs well, he just can't take a hit and fumbles a bunch. In the air, he tends to stare down receivers telegraphing his throws and can't see the defenders, both of which lead to INTs. On top of that, he gets frustrated and quits easily.

Great physical abilities, but mentally weak. I can see why coaches think they can "fix" him.
I'm imagining the past where in HS, he was probably the best athlete on the field on any given Friday night under the lights, had a speedy receiver or 2, and basically either ran from and away from defenders for huge gains, or chucked he ball downfield and let the receivers run under it for yuge gains or TDs. Basically played a form of chuck and duck to his advantage.

Basically a lightweight Vince Young.

Probably closer to flyweight.

Seriously, Tevin would be Tom Brady with speed if he had Sims gifts
