I think we had decent guys in the secondary. The problem was mostly from the front seven just disappearing for long stretches of each game. Too small up front and too slow at LB. This adds up to lack of pass rush and bad run D, forcing the defense to gamble to both stop the run and to generate a pass rush, putting even more pressure on the defensive backfield. Just have to get bigger and faster in the front seven. Much easier said than done.So the 130th worst pass defense (out of 130 total) had NFL talent?

He better learn how to play OLB.... those times are too slow to even play SS, if they still use that terminology.I watched his 40s. Two 4.6s and one 4.5 I believe. Meh.

As you stated he has an official time & this isn’t college where you get to make shit up. I’m not as negative as many on his prospects here. NFL drafts on potential. He’ll get a shot. He’s got the physical readiness & maybe with some decent coaching has good upside.Official time is recorded as 4.67, per CBS Sports.
For his sake, I hope so. But that speed is going to be a major red flag so my guess is that he will only get a shot as an UFA.As you stated he has an official time & this isn’t college where you get to make öööö up. His official with the NFL was 4.5, which is plenty fast for a box safety.Official time is recorded as 4.67, per CBS Sports.
Great analysis. Kyle Hamilton ran a 4.6. Do you think someone will roll the dice on him as an UFA too?For his sake, I hope so. But that speed is going to be a major red flag so my guess is that he will only get a shot as an UFA.
The whole small hands thing is just stupid, they said the same thing about Burrow, but Jameis who has big hands is the perfect candidate. (Btw I know there has to be some "you know what they say about people with small hands" reference in here somewhere.)Loser: KENNY PICKETT, PITTSBURGH
This one comes down to one thing — his 8.5-inch hand measurement.
He’s not a “loser,” per se, as it was already known he’d measure in with small hands. Still, it doesn't take away from the fact that it ties the smallest measurement for any quarterback who has taken an NFL snap since the league started measuring. It’s something that will factor into evaluations for some, but it's not a death knell.

Yeah, someone else pointed that out. And that's a huge difference from the # CBS Sports was reporting. A 4.67 forty would be a huge red flag. A 4.55 at his size should be fine.
