I think win-probability-wise that was a mistake. Hard to coach a perfect game though. If he admits it was a bad call I'll be encouraged.

Roddy was flat wrong on that too. He even tacitly admitted it later on when he ragged on Key for not getting us up by 2 scores and a 2-point PAT to tie.

If he has a winning record from here on out, you have to seriously consider him. We won't sneak up on anyone else this season, and we won't win many more games if the OL doesn't improve.

The best thing this win does is give the team some reason to believe in their coaching staff for the first time in 3 years. It was a sloppy win and far from perfect, but you could tell there was less BS on the sidelines and the players were focused and playing to win. This is a page turning win. I don’t know if Key is the full time guy yet, but I’ll be pulling for him after that interview.

My deal is even if you got stuffed (not considering the Pat Nix oopty-ööööing-oop special play call) you put their backs to wall having to go 99 against your hot defense and while they’re having a game where they’re either ööööting their pants or the football gods are smiling down on you.
