I am rooting like hell for CBK, but it has to be a very solid body of work the rest of the season and then participating in a normal interview process with other candidates. I don't think anyone that's "pro-Key" reasonably thinks otherwise.

Part of play calling is understanding your personnel. I haven't seen much from Sims that would give me confidence he is able to make that throw consistently.

He is good at throwing the fade to the left corner. We’ve seen him do that since 2020. I don’t recall him ever completing a corner fade to the right though

Joe Fusile sat the bench after about 3 series when it was obvious he was in over his head.

World of difference tween CGC and CBK when it came to gameplanning and in-game involvement. CGC somewhere unbeknownst to mortal man but over his head vs. CBK being a football coach. On the other hand I wasn't impressed with Pitt at all. Overrated if you ask me. The Dook game will be telling as will every last game left on the schedule.

I think the amount of punch our DL had at the beginning really surprised them. They talked a lot about not being in rhythm until late in the game because they weren't on the field a ton. I think the didn't get a 1st down until the second quarter.
