He still won 4, 2 of them against ranked teams. And he gave us our best showing against the mutts in 5 or 6 years. He did more with less that GOL did with more when he was interim.

He went 4-4 after 3 and a third years of 3 wins a year. His kids clearly played hard for him. Gibson was not ready to play against Virginia and FSU as it turns out is pretty good.

Today was a quality performance where the score doesn’t match what happened on the field. This was the number 1 team in the country on their home turf at the end of the year with minimal injuries. We should’ve been steamrolled, but it was a game until the mistakes piled up.

It’s hilarious that people think Chadwell is a better option when he got blown out even more by JMU. People make excuses for Chadwell about injuries, but we’re starting a third/fourth string QB. And JMU <<<< UGA.

I think the most obvious thing a team gets from is coach is mentality. Competitiveness, toughness, and discipline. Under the last coach these were blatantly lacking. Under Brent Key these are clearly intact and have clearly been a focus of the staff. When you have that, you can harness it and add talent to it but if you don't, there is nothing you can do.

In the face of adversity today the kids were competitive, tough, and disciplined.

I think weve got our coach. However, we need new TEs and a new punter.
