I interpret "legs" to mean USCe has requested permission to contact. And, yes, that backs up the rumor.

Wouldn’t be surprised. If we want a legit OC we’re going to have to pay him and Key makes way more than our other position coaches
 
Hopefully a stupid rumor. If this happens, it says a lot about the true nature of our 404 culture.
 
I like Key but we’re already paying the man an absurd amount for OL coach. I can’t believe usce would pay him substantially more for the same job.

If it were a coordinator position it would be more believable.
 
Why'd he come here just to jump at the first SEC job that became available? Especially carolina. Does not compute. But I guess stranger things have happened.

Leaving a sinking ship would be a reason; but I don't think he is leaving because I hope that isn't a reason.

Could be using it as leverage to become our OC?
 
Based on his title I doubt he's leaving.
