Masks in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Masks or no masks, I’m just hoping for a somewhat normal season (full stadiums) this year.

Unfortunately I am getting less confident about that by the day. Glad I got to go to a packed, maskless Foo Fighters concert before the restrictions picked up again.

im putting probabilty of mask mandate at BDS at 90%. the tix office told me they would not make an announcement till the semester starts which is august 23rd. the way theyve handled this makes my blood boil.

A beer in my hand with chin diaper beats staying at home.

That said, I'm 99.9% sure that we won't see an outdoor mask policy ever again. We know the virus spreads indoors, it's just a matter of whether the amount of risk in a population with access to vaccine means we should GAF or not (which we obviously shouldn't).

I will just eat and drink the entire game.

Usher: "GT65, mask up please"
GT65: Looks over at Usher, takes a bite of hot dog, pretzel, drink of Diet Coke.
During TV time outs gets up and orders more food and drink.
Of course this strategy may see me gain 20 lbs. during the season -sacrifices for the cause man.

it's liberty or tyranny at this point. i've made my choice. you've made yours.
I’m not gonna call you out, but I’ll say I like Tech football more than I care about not wearing a mask. Any other aspect though I’m with you. It’s just the program is so fragile now and these moments in time count a lot.

Whenever I see BDS I have to remember where I am before I know what it means…

that's fair. i get that. hey, im rooting for no protocols. make the common sense, non-CYA decision GTAA.

Put on the dang mask if it's required and stop whining!
If yall want to see a season where games aren't forfeited and players and teams are sidelined because they've been infected or been in contact with someone who is, wear the mask if it's required and be quiet.

Players have enough to try and focus on during a game. And should not have to worry about catching this virus on the sidelines.

Even if Kemp says no, GT should require it because of the Delta variant and the fact that players from 9 different states on the schedule are being asked to adhere to COVID protocols. It would be downright ridiculous if players or teams can't play because somebody gets infected while politicians are making political decisions and not health decisions.
