Mason gone

Can’t he declare for the draft? I believe he can make the league. As an RB I would be gone as well and that is regardless of the team I played for. You only have so many carries.
 
So he is supposedly going to leave for the train wreck of Tennessee football because? Is their HC even going to be there next season?

This is a lot like when Gruden was flying out of some airport somewhere to take over Tennessee football.

Sucks about Gibbs if its true. Not sure what Tennessee does for him that we don't but best of luck.

A trio of Dontae, Griffin and Amerson? will have to hold over until Martin gets here in '23. I suppose we would dip into the portal for answers as well.

Money ball here, Mason is worth a couple third down conversions at least in any game, anywhere, and in most games way more. At UT the margin between a UGA win and loss is not nearly as large as it is here, and he could be a win for them. So even behind their OL wearing orange he is still going to be one of our best players and helping the program.

Super especially if he goes to UT, I want him to ball out of control. I'll be rooting for him to the max.

Edit: I guess the rumors about UT are WRT Gibbs. Same sentiment.
 
Fire Scooter now.... losing Gibbs and keeping Thacker as DC is absolutely unacceptable. And those rumors are true, not burning sources here but there's a lot of damn smoke on both the GT and Tennessee sides. It's happening

There was an old movie about ships in the Atlantic trying to dodge german submarines in ww2, I thought it was called something like "Atlantic approaches", but I can't find it. Anyway, some people get sunk and are on a lifeboat while other ships are looking for them, but the German sub is right beneath them using them as bait as they starve to death in the middle of the ocean.

We're in a position more like that one.

Believe it was confirmed that Thacker will not be remaining as DC and will be demoted to position coach.

I thought Mason had graduated anyway. Isn't it smart to look somewhere else to get a Master's?

Martin is 22, isn't he? Simpkins is '23. We also have Kellman in 22.

As far as rumors go, I have developed a sense for who has a paysite subscription around here, so I am gonna go ahead and panic.

The rescue ship is coming in and the sailors on the lifeboat find the German sub and manage to warn them at the last minute. The Germans take some shots with torpedoes and then surface to finish the job with machine guns but some allied sailors sneak onto the cannon on deck and light them up and the Germans sink and die. Then everyone gets rescued and goes home. Of course, tons of people on the allied side are dead, but they do win.

So that's nice.

I smell what you're stepping in about pay sites.

And you're correct about Martin. For some reason I was thinking we missed out on recruiting a back in '22 but that was '21. I am sure Martin is solid as long as Choice is here.
