We've made Mason struggle through 3 years of 3 win seasons. If the portal lets him go somewhere that is headed to bowl game, even a minor one, then good for the portal. Let him have fun for at least one season instead of spending his whole college career in our dumpster fire.

Not officially, but both sides have "runners" to talk through back channels. Tennessee has momentum. Just like Ole Miss they go quick and actually run the ball a bunch. SEC schools pay pretty well too.

Mason is NFL eligible, so we have no reason to get upset about him, any time a draft eligible guy stays, that's a bonus, not a requirement, if be stays cool, but if not, we shouldn't get mad

So if he leaves for the NFL or leaves for the Portal, it is the same net result, he no longer plays for GT.

They usually go thru the HS HC, which doesn't help us cause we are in the process of rebuilding those relationships

I think he should turn pro. We coddled Gibbs to the detriment of Mason. Mason blocks, runs very hard inside the tackles.
