Matthew Jordan Lore

Yea, well I can't find equivalent for the ncaa and am not going to go into the actual rulebook and quote line and section to explain it to you guys. I'm right, you're wrong, suck it.

As I have already stated, any touching of the ball in the 10 yard zone between kicking team and receiving team is a dead ball situation.

Obviously, he didn't down the ball just to be a nice guy.

Read the link again or prove that the ncaa rule is different. Otherwise you are wrong.

"
  1. A kickoff is illegal unless it travels 10 yards OR is touched by the receiving team. Once the ball is touched by the receiving team or has gone 10 yards, it is a free ball. Receivers may recover and advance. Kicking team may recover but NOT advance UNLESS receiver had possession and lost the ball."

Did he recover it before the ball traveled 10 yards? If so, then you are right. If the ball had travelled 10 yards, then he's just a really nice guy.

Yes it was within the 10 yard zone. Why else would I have said that?

I don't think his arm is the issue. He's got zero pocket presence right now. There were a couple of times where the blocking looked fine but he was all over the place in the pocket and throwing off his back foot. That does seem like something that should improve with experience, so I hope he can do that before he's the likely starter next year.

There's no better offense on earth for a QB who can't throw than ours.

Yes that was my point. I'm trying to find a link to explain it but haven't been able to.

If the ball hasn't traveled 10 yards, it is not a live ball. If the receiving team recovers it within the 10 yard zone, it is a dead ball.

You're wrong and you should FEEL wrong.
