Miami Coach

His 4th game of the season, he should tie our win season total. By game 5, we’re probably going to be staring up at his 5 hole dreaming about what it takes to hire someone that excites the fanbase. Maybe it’s game 6, but worst case da U starts 4-2. If our guy starts 4-2, the heat on firing CGC will have disappeared and 90% of the fanbase will revert back to a wait and see mode. Let’s hope this is the case.

I’ve got tons of da U fans working for me. They get a thrill up their leg just thinking about football season. We’re spending our time praying we don’t completely suck or get pasted by directional Carolina.
No, wusses like you spend your time praying we don't completely suck. We are gonna annihilate Western Carolina. Try to grow a damn set and man TF up.

I wouldn't underestimate Mario Cristobal. 2 years from now when he's upgraded Miami's talent from highly rated undisciplined imbeciles shooting their mouths off to better quality recruits trained and capable of backing up their formerly false bravado, watch out. He's got a weak ACC & can dominate for a decade. This threat is real and for once da U didn't crap themselves when they hired a head coach.
Home run hire, Cristobal is gonna be solid @ Miami. Nobody is thinking he’s going to be Saban, but he’s a helluva hire for the U.

Someone has their mind right.

aye aye, sir. Manning up now. Hypey hypey siss boom bah.

Have y’all seen Oregon’s athletic facilities? Second only to Bama. That place is ridiculous. Cristobal wants to win in a place where he can take credit for it.

Collins could win 10 games a year in Oregon.

Cristobal wants a challenge.
“Collins could win 10 games a year in Oregon.”

Lol.
Playing video poker or on a men’s softball team with Bryce Harper and Freddie Freeman.

No, Oregon has some of the best facilities in college football, and definitely the best facilities west of Texas. They recruit on a different level than GT. They have money for staff, coaches, analysts....much more than GT. I know you just absolutely dipise Collins and have a need to make ööööty comments about him, but winning 10 at Oregon is almost a given. They might have an off year or so, every so often, but otherwise, Oregon is a power.

This is the difference in what other hires were able to do. Richt built the indoor practice facility. Miami just this week unveiled the Dwayne the Rock Johnson new locker room. Miami is spending money like Nevin Shapiro, but now they are doing it legally!

That is the reason you will see this Coach turn it around. His support staff hires are spot on and the number of hires is maxing out!

And whatever they build, Oregon has a nicer version of it.

I will believe Miami is serious when they build a stadium

You guys are forgetting some important information here. The last time Miami was good, they were paying players copious $ under the table and got busted. Now that is legal. While not my preferred location, they are in the sun and fun, Miami beach is loaded with smoking hot women, money is everywhere, and the party doesn't stop which is what a lot of 18yr old kids are attracted to.

I predict a resurgence in Miami, maybe not to national champ level and not necessarily this year but they will be a problem in the ACC for the future.

What you're forgetting is that schools like Alabama, aTm, Texas, UGAg, Oregon, USC, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Florida.....have more resources than Miami and have their own stadiums

What you, in your obvious deranged Hurricane-Hatred, are forgetting is that Miami has more top notch high school football talent within a fifty mile radius of campus than all of those schools combined except USC. And has won FIVE Natties in the past 40 years. OSU has two. USC has two. PSU has one. Michigan has one. UGAg has one. Texas has one. TA&M has none. Oregon has none.

And WGAF about "their own stadium?" Ever been to the Mausoleum? It's a 100 year old toilet with lots and lots of empty seats.

Maybe you’d be happier on a Miami board, because you sure seem like a miserable öööö on this one.

Every coach Miami has brought in over the almost 20 years they have been in the ACC is the one that is "embracing the culture" and concentrating on closing off south Florida. Da U is back baby!!!! Rinse. Repeat.

I don't know where you get that it is "hatred" for Miami. Cristobal has a mediocre record as a HC. They have, once again, thrown some cash at the program.

Let me guess, in your world, this time is "different"?

Pretty sure I could win 10+ per year in Oregon with the resources they have.

But put me in Coral Gables and I would face plant like Al Golden. Or Randy Shannon. Or Marc Richt.

Cristobal may be a great coach. Who knows. Win at a tough place to prove it.
Ya but Mario was on the 2015 Bama coaching staff, which is like the 1915 West Point class but for football coaching.

Lots of coaches pass through Alabama. I'm guessing Nick Saban may actually be behind the winning there, despite your apparent need to fluff Cristobal's resume

I didn't claim they're top slot, but for the ACC and their other opponents it's gonna be problematic. Besides even though Florida isn't for me, would you rather be in Pennsylvania, or Ohio, or Alabama, or Michigan as an 18 yr old kid....I think that's why places like usc and Arizona even still have a draw.

Let's see....play in front of 103,000 or play in front of 35,000....

we will see what he left behind when Oregon plays the mutts in week 2
That’s week 1. And UGA is a 20 point favorite. Oregon lost quite a few players to the Portal including their #1 RB Dye to USC. They added the erratic Bo Nix as their starting QB (at least to start the season). But no one expects Oregon to hang with UGA with a new staff / system in week 1. Oregon will win 9 games in a transition year. That’s not too bad.

USC under a crappy HC in Helton still won the P12, played for the P12 Championship multiple times, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, etc. Arizona and USC are not even close to one another.

With Riley at USC, recruiting has already taken off (#1 QB, #1 WR committed) along with all the portal additions. Arizona is similar to GT at this current state of the programs. Hard to recruit to compared to the schools around them. 2 articles this week (Athletic & ESPN) on the issues with GT and perceived recruiting.
