Why would there have been an untimed down even if there was a penalty? The game can end on an offensive penalty, can't it?

Screw puke, and unc. Shows what a candy azz division & conference we are in. And run by an idiot in Greensboro who goes out of his way for puke & unc, and not one single jack azz at another school sez crap about it.

We play crap teams like these every year and expect to improve by adding the likes of gsu & mercer as well. There can be no wonder.

Best part of it all was watching a Puke coach big cry about the officiating. I may watch that almost as many times as the Kick Six.

Yeah I into get that either. So if you have someone make a penalty after time expired you would get a free play? What if he was tackled before the end zone, would the untuned down still happen?
 
And Duke got all the calls on their last drive. Three PIs (one overturned a pick), adding time to the clock... twice, an a TD where their ball carrier might not have broken the plane.

Not a chance. Ours doesn't have 2-5 obvious reasons why it shouldn't have been legal. But if we're just taking illegality as a given in anything involving Miami then perhaps you're right.
 
I watched that on college football final this morning. There were 3 blocks in the back by my count AND a player ran off the sidelines onto the field with his helmet in his hands, crossing goal line same time as ball carrier.

Not a Duke or Miami fan but that was robbery.
 
I'm just happy it happend at that stupid high-school stadium in front of those asshole Puke fans who thought they were seeing a great nighttime W over the worst Miami team in 50 years.

Duck Fuke - I'm glad they lost to a shitty Miami team. Puke can go straight to hell and take their Polack basketball coach with 'em as well as those asshole students who jump around like a bunch of schizos on speed during games.

For everyone whining about 'Duke getting robbed by penalties', well that's how those assholes have made a living in hoops under Coach Consonants so F**k 'em!!!

So do we ever reach the point where something as egregious as this will be corrected after a game is over? For example, since the player should have been ruled down and therefore the game would have ended with Duke winning, the ACC correcting the call and awarding the win to Duke?
