So are you saying you only go when you have nothing else to do. Hell, I schedule my Saturday's the whole season around GT schedule. Even the people I work with scheduled a weekend trip for us on an away game Saturday because they knew I wouldn't go otherwise. I've turned down 2 family trips and caused friends to reschedule a trip already this season because of home games.

This is what Johnson was talking about. When you have mediocre fans, the results are empty seats or more seats for opposing teams to fill. Recruits look at these facts.

Season tix for me every year as long as I can no matter how many wins. Love football, love GT!
So Johnson is saying no matter how bad of a product he puts on the field, the stadium should be full? He will have a point if his offense didn't look like smear the queer.

Some years, the game day experience is more about the tailgate than the actual game, although I have seen Tech get upset wins often enough that I never go into the stadium without hope. If they ever tell me I can't use charcoal, light up a stogey, or drink a beer in the campus lot, that would be more likely the end of my season ticket buying than the W-L record. Anybody who wants to cheer for a perennial winner can find another team to support. There are only a few of those programs out there, and GT will probably never be in that group, no matter who the head coach is.

He made the point earlier that us empty nesters can't relate to his situation, being a young married man with a youngster and a UGA wife who is always telling what he can and cannot do. That certainly must make things tough.
Yeah, we've never been in that situation, couldn't possibly relate. The UGA wife, I mean[emoji38]......must wear the pants in his family.

Sorry little Billy I know you're not even 1 year old yet and don't have fully developed self-temperature regulation skills and need to eat and poop every 2 hours but you've got to go sit in the 100 degree sun because Mr. Coit demands perfect attendance of others (although he is slightly hypocrticial when it comes to himself)

His wife puts her hands out before being smashed in the head. Just saying.

Man him up, raise em right! He's just gonna sleep anyway [emoji4] or leave UGA wife at home? I leave my old man at home every single game since he won't get off his ass. We all have struggles...[emoji38]

Oh stop whining. You know I'm kidding.

Although I think @Architorture23 rarely misses a game and he's got a young'un. That's what grandparents are for.

Or great grandparents in your case, but that would cause you to miss the game. That's a conundrum.

Jesus Christ, how dare you have priorities in your life that would take you away from BDS every saturday in the fall. You should just shut the öööö up, your opinion is invalid.
Somehow some of us seem to prioritize posting on ST all day long all year long over spending a few hours at BDS 7 times a year.... But that's none of MY business....

Babysitter

or (and I know this is going to be a novel concept for some of you) how about I parent the way I want and you back the öööö off?

Wow these last few days have been really eye opening. I honestly thought your skin was thicker than this.

Here I was thinking that by voting 6, I would be labeled the most butthurt one in the thread. Not only am I a crackerjack AD, I'm not the negative ned for once!!

Upper North should have never been built.

I still think attendance will improve over the next couple decades regardless of coach/record. The class size is steadily growing which means our alumni base should be growing steadily as well.

Yes, class size is growing, but so is the inventory of people who don't know what football is within that class size.
