It's not that specific. My point is that, as 18in32 alluded to in this thread or another, they have a hard job to please everyone. Should have something that appeals to fans of ALL ages instead of selling out 100% to whatever the whims of current and near-term future athletes are. It all has to work together (fun place for athletes to come play, fun for the younger kids, i.e. future students and fans AS WELL AS where so called "old farts" want to spend their Saturdays in the Fall). Going all in for any segment of that would be a bad decision IMO. And, as has been mentioned here and elsewhere, there were several traditions stomped on or significantly changed yesterday that should be considered sacrosanct.

I am fine with "Money Down" or whatever, I just don't care that we totally did away with our signature 3rd Down signal. Seems to two could co-exist.

There can be a balance is all I am saying.
 
"Money Down" got old fairly quickly, but this sort of thing is going on in stadiums everywhere. I'm old and don't have much patience for it. Tech looked solid, mainly on defense. I'm glad I was able to make it to the game.

We have been using a lot more of the fire extinguisher smoke for years.

Yesterday looked like my grandfather exhaling from his cigar.

All of that is just imitating miami from forever.

Ok with no banner - kinda high schoolish.

The Wreck - ONE OF A KIND IN THE WORLD! Figure out the best way to maximize that whatever it is.

Money down? That is every play of every game.

Even my soon to be 9 year old was talking about how lame the money down thing was. Don't care if you want to call it that and hold up your signs on the sideline. And even if you want to announce it on really big third downs. But when it's the third third-down of a drive, and you have blasted it over the PA each and every time, it got old very quickly.
