You had some shot of convincing me til the end. Not only does "bleeds white and gold" mean jack ööööing öööö for winning games, but it seems to be weighing more on our hiring decisions then pesky things like "ability". After the past four and a half seasons, I am seeing this as something to be activity avoided, not applauded.

First season as a head coach ever gives him a shorter leash, not a longer one. We can't afford to be someone else's growing pains.

It does count for something. With few exceptions, only Tech men really have that chip on their shoulder against teams like the dwags and Clempson, while others want to sing kumbaya with the players and pretend like it is just another game.

Also, he has shown some promise as coach. Occasionally crapping the bed is to be expected for someone with little head coaching experience. There is such a thing as adapting and improving. As long as Key does that instead of getting more terrible like Collins, there is hope

I guess your could be right, cause they definitely couldn't muster a single flake on their shoulder while BG went on a 38-0 run. Guess we can only witness that against quality opponents.
Also you do know that half our defensive staff are "tech men", right? When is that chip gonna start chipping in on that side? Maybe the weight of all that ice is our tackling problem.

Also crapping the bed is what could describe the Louisville game. What we witness this game was a travesty. It was a Collins performance, well below what you could expect from an avg coach.

Which is most embarrassing?
51-7 in 2002.

Not a game GT was supposed to win, but even Citadel didn’t feel as bad as the first 51-7. Embarrassing loss and put a stamp on the football programs at GT and UGA moving in completely opposite directions.

Yea they haven't quite figured out the recipe to be winners...maybe it will click soon
