It also means our fans do a poor job of annoying other fan bases; instead we direct our douchiness internally. We are one of a select few bases that hate ourselves more than others hate us.

Personally, I'm hoping CBK can get us to a level where I can actually hate other teams. All my hate made a hard stop at CGC to even notice who we were playing. Thankfully, I'm feeling cautious optimism winning out over the apathy that installed itself over the last few years.

Not really select few or anything special in that. Self loathing is very common among fanbases with not too much going on. It’s a defense mechanism.
