Most Hated ACC Teams?

UNC is the the Ted Kennedy of sports.
Duke is the Justin Trudeau.
Miami: Raul Castro

Virginia: Pelosi

Clemson has one of the nicest fanbases ive encountered, its all about winning. Guaranteed VT hated us the most since they joined the league until Collins

VPI was my most hated team when they joined the league. The pretentiousness like you said, the ööööing key jingling at home, Jerseygate, Beamer whining about öööö
 
UNC and Miami vying for the top spot.

There’s a decent fall-off after that if you’re talking about football.
 
my hate for Coach Ratface eventually carried over to all things dook, then Cuntcliff helped me double down on it

beamer made me hate vt because he was such a whiney bitch but now that he’s gone i don’t care about them as much

dabo makes clemson pretty easy to root against also

It’s also weird how a head coach will affect how much you like or dislike a school. I always liked Pittsburg until that Narduzzi guy got there. Now that coach K and Cutcliff are gone from Duke, I’m kind of indifferent toward them.
 
Most of you clearly just picked the ACC teams in the states where you currently live with their fan bases and you're tired of hearing it, and/or are in states that you hate.

I root for all ACC teams when they play non-ACC teams. There are no ACC teams even in the top five college programs that I hate . . . ugag, ööööing Irish, Nick Satan's Correctional Facility, The Ohio State Penal Colony, and Lincoln Riley's University of Semi-pro Californians.

If I had to pick an ACC program it would be Dook becuase too many of its fans think it's really an Ivy League school instead of just a collection of Ivy League leftovers. UNC would be next for its SEC-level cheating.

this. I’ll root for any conference that GT is in over anyone else.
 
1) Anybody who hires G**** C****** in any capacity.
2) Anybody who hires Bobinsquatch in any capacity.
3) Bountygate (Miami)
4) Fraudgate (UNC)
5) New Jersey student body, football dead weight, and yet suspiciously powerful very quietly (Duke)
6) Bowties? REALLY? (Virginia)

You didn't even need to go off campus for Miami. Donna Shalala is a past President.
 
I use to be OK with Clemson, but their fans are starting to get uppity and now Clemson wants more ACC money than the other schools get. So my top five are Miami, Clemson, Duke, UNC and FSU.

Clemson fans are still generally good people, but they do need a reminder of what they were for most of the last 40 years. I work with a relatively recent Clemson grad (she’s in her mid-late 20s) who definitely takes their success for granted because it’s all she can remember.

That is weird. I don't dislike Narduzzi, he just comes across to me as a bit of a complainer but he's a good coach. Cut I never disliked either - he was my preference for HC at GT when Rad chose CPJ. However, he adopted the Dook snobbiness quite well. K was just a foul-mouthed lesser version of Bob Knight. Good coach, bad person.
