Another alt.Amen!
See? Told y'all. A delusional Vol fan shows up.Vols got rid of a crappy coach without paying a buyout and brought in a coach That has them bowl eligible in a season where they only have 71 players because 27 left in the transfer portal. So tell me about truly inheriting a piss-poor roster. Tech fans could stand to have a little bit of Volunteer delusion right now.
WE. CAN'T. AFFORD. TO. HIRE. HIM. RIGHT. NOW.I think he would consider GT over USF, Akron or OC job, if we offered.
WE CANT AFFORD TO KEEP HIM EITHER.WE. CAN'T. AFFORD. TO. HIRE. HIM. RIGHT. NOW.
Maybe after 2022 or 2023. If he is still unemployed. Yes, Tech is a better job that Akron. I think Tech is a a better job that USF, too, but that's a closer call because of the available talent in Florida. Maybe even better than WASU. But, again, he ain't coming here now. If he sits out 2022, when we could first conceivably rid ourselves of this troublesome coach, then we would have to see what jobs were available at that time.
The math has been shown here repeatedly. Even an IM major should understand by now. As painful and expensive as it is, it is cheaper to keep him at least one more year. It just is. Unless one of the two fools who gave MSU the money for that riduiculous contract they just gave Mel Tucker decides to become a Tech benefactor, CGC will at least get the fourth year of his original seven year contract.WE CANT AFFORD TO KEEP HIM EITHER.
People are fed up and at the point of not caring. Revenues are going to crater next year with probably record low season ticket purchases.

And I doubt it would be record low attendance. We didn't breach 20000 for several games in the 1979-1981 timeframe.
yup real delusional. 1 coach has 71 scholarship players, plays 6 ranked teams in the toughest conference this season, finds a ways to blowout SEC teams and constantly thanks the fans. Compared to a coach who was impressed with beating Duke and their top 5 offense, and only cares about the players not the fans. You're blind if you can't see C***** is the biggest coaching failure in the history of Georgia Tech. At least Bill Fulcher had the decency to quit.See? Told y'all. A delusional Vol fan shows up.
Tech won’t pay a lump sum if he’s fired, it’ll be spread out over a number of years. The math has been shown here repeatedly. Even an IM major should understand by now. Other than two or three dudes whom I will not name to spare them embarrassment, NO ONE here is delusional about Collins. He sucks as a head football coach. Could not be clearer. But we're $tuck with him for now.yup real delusional. 1 coach has 71 scholarship players, plays 6 ranked teams in the toughest conference this season, finds a ways to blowout SEC teams and constantly thanks the fans. How can we not afford to keep him? Because of ööööing fair weather fans?WE CANT AFFORD TO KEEP HIM EITHER.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. So what? You still have to pay the piper. You sound like the federal government. At least the federal government can always print money to pay back what it borrows.Tech won’t pay a lump sum if he’s fired, it’ll be spread out over a number of years.
Tennessee managed to fire their coach with cause (according to them) and it isn't done yet. Less than a month ago Pruitt's attorney indicated that unless a settlement is reached there will be a lawsuit filed against the University of Tennessee. The Pruitt saga at Tennessee is going to be messy and expensiveOther than two or three dudes whom I will not name to spare them embarrassment, NO ONE here is delusional about Collins. He sucks as a head football coach. Could not be clearer. But we're $tuck with him for now.
However, there IS one person here (and only one AFAICT) who appears to be totally delusional about how Tennessee was able to afford to fire their crappy coach in the middle of his contract without paying him, so they could afford to go pay for someone else to turn things around. I won't even bother to mention that Neyland Stadium also seats 47000 more paying customers than BDS (oops - I guess I just did).
If you don't know who that one person is . . . look in a mirror.
In a normal job, yes.Is being bad something you can fire for cause
You're joking, right? You don't think GT alums have the financial capacity to get rid of Collins? If you really believe that, or if it's really true, then let's go join conference usa and call it a day. As far as how UT dumped Pruitt, they pointed out him doing what every other SEC coach was doing. You don't think C***** has improved our recruiting on slick talk and waffle house cups alone, do you?Other than two or three dudes whom I will not name to spare them embarrassment, NO ONE here is delusional about Collins. Tech did it with Hewitt and Gregory and they’ll do it here because they can’t afford to keep him. Fan support will be at an all time low if he’s here next year.Thank you, Captain Obvious. So what? You still have to pay the piper. You sound like the federal government. At least the federal government can always print money to pay back what it borrows.
Financial capacity ≠ financial willingness. You're joking, right? You don't think GT alums have the financial capacity to get rid of Collins? Might be AD needs save his jobIt might be career suicide to hire a better coach than you as a coordinator, ask Bill Lewis.
So are you saying that Collins is violating NCAA rules to recruit? And stop with the **** bullshit and be a ööööing grown up alreadyYou're joking, right?
