And by the way, there are all kinds of names being thrown around for Fulmer. Personally, I find it intriguing that his name is talked about. It only confirms that we have a winner !!!!!!!!
 
Where is it being talked about? Not on any boad I've seen. You have insider connections at UT? Or is it your neighbor or something? No way TN would stand for an offense as radical as ours. Their fans' heads would explode.

Also, UT is a different beast. Literally 5 games removed from a good showing in the SEC Championship game, now they want their HC fired.

Hell, GT gave Chan every opportunity one could hope for.

...until we beat them 2 years in a row, after which time they'll kick Richt to the curb, and we all better hope he goes to UT instead of FSU.

CPJ question.

As many of you know, I'm a UGA fan. In talks with a UT Vol fan here at work today, he seems to think CPJ would jump to UT if given the oppotunity.

I couldn't disagree more. I have been a huge CPJ fan for years and think he's at the perfect place for him now, plus doesn't he have a monster contract?

The Vol seems to think they could buy him out, but I told him I was pretty sure that CPJ had signed a nice contract and that CPJ wouldn't bolt for the $$$.

Jake, while I'm pretty sure the Vols could eventually out bid us, I'm not so sure that CPJ would take the bait...at least for several years anyway. As you said, he is at the perfect place for him. As to the monster contract, it's not like Bama's but it ain't too far from UGA's IIRC.
 
Richt and Fulmer both signed extended, large contracts recently.

Neither one of them is going anywhere.

And PJ's not going anywhere either.
 
PJ's contract is a lot less "monster" than it could be, but I'm sure we'll find the cash to "monster" it up after 2009.

I'll say it again, if PJ goes anywhere, it's going to be to the hoards of fans in the state of Nebraska who curse their previous AD every day for abandoning option football.

And Nebraska's got buku cash.

But Nebraska, luckily for us, just hired a new coach. Pray Nebraska does well the next few years to keep them out of our business.
 
If PJ wanted more money, he would've gone to SMU. They were offering way more than us... Heck, he could have gone to Michigan...

CPJ is happy at GT and I SERIOUSLY doubt he will go anywhere.
