Right now he earns 1.6. If we start selling out and win a nice bowl game and perhaps make it to the ACC Championship game in his first year, then I say he gets a nice contract extension and moves into the 2 mil range. Tenn can pay more, they pay big Phil 2.6 right now. The buyout on that is they pay him half his contract for the next I think 4 or so years. So if they were to get into a bidding war with someone, then they also have the 1.3 a year to pay on top of what they offer to their new guy. Tenn can shell out some good money because they got the boosters to do it. But they won't be going after a Johnson, so its not a problem. If Nebraska still had Calahan this year and was in the market next year, I would be worried.
