I think people are just confused because every QB you have used as an example of how you can't coach passing has been an incredible college QB. Like multiple titles, Heismans, and even a pair of NFL MVPs between them incredible.
It's just a little odd. Those seem like examples you would use to give hope that Sims can develop, not as examples of coaching failures.
It’s a bold strategy. To use three specific examples that directly contradict your thesis. Not only that, but Baker “started as a walk on, improved statistically every year, won a Heisman, and is now starting in the NFL” Mayfield is probably the prototype example to argue against his point.
