New ACC 2024-2030 Schedule Release Tonight

Hopefully by then Tech is really good and the fans want to come.
Hopefully. But that is a hard schedule to sell. Those are the four most uninteresting Conference opponents anyways, and we get all four of them for home games. Maybe that is our ND home year or something.

The only thing worse would be the 3 new schools + BC or Wake at home.

So out of the seven years:
5 x UL, Wake
4 x Duke, Cuse, VT, BC, SMU

rest of the teams 2 or 3 times

Colorado comes to town. We will see. ND is next year in Mercedes benz

Bummer that we don't get to play one of the new teams until 2026.

2024 looks like a tough conference schedule (judging by team strength this year)

Are we not playing Clemson anymore?

Well, if anyone on here still wanted to stay in the ACC because of muh rivalries, take a good ööööing look.

It’s time to get the öööö out
Yeah it was bad enough before this ridiculous expansion when, after divisions were eliminated, we were stuck with Wake and Louisville. At least we still had Clemson. Now we don’t even have them as a permanent rival. Seriously—-screw the ACC …and our AA for that matter. If JBatt is not negotiating behind the scenes to get an SEC or BigN invite, then to heck with him too.

I'm not seeing anything positive. UNC avoids us like the plague with only 2 matchups over 7 years...decided they can't beat us so won't even play anymore. We still keep the awful matchups with Wake and Loserville 5 out of 7 years. 2026 and 2030 home schedules are vomit-inducing. Only 3 games vs. FSU and Miami. And no Clemson to buoy our home schedule every other year. ACC left us with the scrapheap and I'm sure we were more than willing to sit down and take it.

I like the tradition of the Clemson game but they are a highly resourced program so they're usually going to be a tough opponent. We already have another permanent highly resourced opponent in Georgia. There's no real advantage to playing a tougher schedule than other teams so why put ourselves at a disadvantage. Paul Johnson was in favor of dropping Clemson.

This is by far the best outcome we could have had. Going into every year knowing we had 2 losses just sucked the life out of everyone. Losing Clemson every year is huge. Sure they are down now but they won’t stay down. I love the fact that we can now get back to 7-9 win seasons much easier. That will bring in more butts to seats and better bowl games. JBatt made the first smart move by an AD regarding scheduling in decades. I can’t understand why so many of you don’t like this. Wins are everything and this scheduling will bring them.
