Roddy is too inexperienced to be an AD at a school in a major conference but I would love to see him on staff in some capacity to learn the ropes. I think he could do well. Doesn't he have an MBA?
 
Just to be clear -- if GT approaches me regarding the position, I will consider it

Yeah, he couldn't do it now, but he would be great one day. Believe he had expressed some type of interest in being an AD one day? Could be wrong. He does have an MBA I think.
 
I don't see why Roddy couldn't do it now. Mbob extended Gregory in '14 and fired him after '15 in which we made it to the quarterfinals of the NIT. The best season in a few years. Mbob didn't care about fundraising. I bet Roddy can do better than that. MBob had like 20 years experience. He is probably laughing about how much he made for not doing a ööööing thing. Roddy is better than that.

Bad idea. You would be setting Roddy up to fail. He needs seasoning from an AD who can raise money and manage a budget.

Not in an intelligent way. If he doesn't tell his former coach that we can't afford a new kicking machine, what decision does he make? Managing a budget is different than keeping one and requires balancing both long and short term benefits and Roddy does not have that experience right now.

A JUGS machine? Janikowski? Me in high school?
