Sounds like Woody is going to be the guy. PJ has a fondness and respect for teams like Appalachian State and Wofford, so it's unsurprising. I think he could be a good hire. Pretty nice resume with the defensive efficiency stats. Granted, it is against lesser opposition than we face, but also presumably with lesser defensive talent.

His defenses held the two common opponents--UGA and Wake--to fewer points this year, and that's surely with more possessions for them too. A caveat is that UGA was playing Jacob Eason against Appalachian State. (Took me a moment to remember Eason's name. Ha!)

From his demeanor in the video I see a guy who could bring some aggressiveness to our D.

If you think we could do better, let's hear some names. There are few probably knock-out DCs out there for whom Tech would be a good move.
