This probably needs its own thread but if you’re a prospective coach, what do you see here:

PROs:
*Location x 2 (SE and ATL)
*Power 5 conference
*New locker room
*Indoor practice facility
*Fan base ready for new blood
*AD talks the talk about building a program

CONs:
*Narrow majors
*Snooty academic types in charge (?)
*Largely disinterested student body
*Calculus for everyone
*Clemson and UGAg are permanent schedule fixtures that are currently on a different level

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it an advantage but I see what you’re getting at in that it’s an opportunity to compete with the best. Fact of the matter is until further notice it’s equivalent to starting your season 0-2

I’d rather have Charlie Strong if we’re taking a swing at a directional Florida.

I haven’t considered Art Briles, but he might be a good option. Someone posted on here that he was cleared of the sexual assault charges associated with his program.
 
How mad would everyone be if Todd's first couple of candidates turn him down and we ultimately end up just hiring Monken?

What is reasonable about a coach getting a bonus to any numbnutz, worthless bowl and not getting a bonus to the biggest (and if you disagree that does not make it true) game on our schedule?

And many praise how much yardage we gain against trash teams, even when we lose.

And many, it would appear, think all is well when we are losing around 50% of the rime vs P5.

If you do, good for you. But you might want to reevaluate how you define loser. But probably not.
