Ok this is a ridiculous complaint. The guy was a terrible HC and screwed the program over. And all he really had going for him was the idea of eating at a ööööty restaurant chain that has some connection with Tech.
But he hasn’t even been officially fired yet so the complaint that he hasn’t told players is ridiculous. I bet he himself is finding out on social media at this point because the official decision will be made tomorrow.

Not sure how this made him look cool at all? I can certainly see part 2 of your comment (I had to google sperg lol) as his behavior did seem very oddly peculiar with his specific requested details.
 
I feel that firing Collins stopped the bleeding. However; the cause of that bleeding, still isn't fixed. TStan should be fired. Once he is gone, I believe the sickness that we are having, will be cured. TStan may understand business. However; the man is clueless, where sports come to mind. We need a no nonsense grindstone type AD, that has high expectations. If coaches cannot meet those expectations, they should be fired.

I confirmed, he hasn't actually been officially fired yet. He will be, that's not in question, but the termination has not been signed and an interim has not been named. It's ööööing amateur hour. The real fault is in not firing Stansbury after the basketball season given his whole logic for keeping the football coach was to look at the basketball team winning a covid fluke acc championship. When that wasn't a sign of permanent progress, you could and should cut bait.

He doesn't know business either. He's clearly not competent on contracts given the details here and getting sued by Oregon state.

Sometimes there is a difference between book smart and common sense smart. Sounds like he may be book smart, but lacks common sense and sports smarts.

And the next AD needs to understand that winning makes $$$. Branding without winning is useless.

I am not angry with Collins. I did not like the hire, but made the best of wanting him to succeed. He could not get the job done. I feel bad for him, even more for his staff and their families. I feel bad for players going through four consecutive rough seasons. But, he was well paid and knows the business of college football - win or get fired. So, we move on. I am not going to waste the energy to be angry with Geoff Collins. I wish him well. Now, let’s make a smart hire that finds a coach with more substance than style. Let them go to work and get the program back where it should be. Go Jackets!

watch after the meeting they come out and say this meeting was about the work on the Edge Center why did y'all think it was about firing anyone before the season.
