official 2009/ 2010 recruiting thread

Looks like we may have found the QB we want. Lamar Ivey. Coaches told him that once they got a updated transcript he would get the offer. He ran a 4.38 fourty at our camp. He said coach Spencer was his boy and liked bohannon as well. Had great things to say.
 
Anthony Williams says he is feeling some pressure to commit. Henry Anderson just got a offer from us and he may commit soon. Williams says he still needs time to make his choice. But is feeling pressure from us.
 
He says he committed a couple of weeks ago. He felt wanted and loves all the coaches. Our staff put a full on blitz to get him. He says family played another role as he will be close to home and play with his cousin here.

Any reason specified as to why it was kept quiet? As in, was it his call or PJ's?

What position & stats on this kid? I can't seem to find him on the recruiting websites...Any help would be appreciated.

what are our chances with this one....Hell of a GPA....If his football skills/work ethic match his GPA & desire for academics, get this kid to committ! Plus he's at our back door...
 
Johnson is a three star safety I spelled his first name wrong. He is a great prospect. Has a offer from UGA as well.
 
I would say were close to number one with Anderson. I would prefer Anthony Willams, and ealy over him though.

Does that necessarily make him our #1 pick at QB? I suppose you've got connections/thoughts/ideas that back up that statment....Not at all "killing the messenger" just curious looking at his ratings vs. some of the other prospects...Once again I appreciate the information/update/imput this just peaks my curiousity...Thanks again for your tireless efforts...Indulge me with your explination sir!:bowdown:
 
My connections are no where near as deep as say GTland03, Dems, or Eastjacket.

But simple we haven't offered any QB and he's been told a offer is on the way to him.

We are getting one commit for sure this weekend.
Three others may jump on board.

I expect come Monday we have 6 commits.
 
ramblin_man, a lot of the kids on the sites, like ivey, have yet to be evaluated by the site. He will not be a 5-star or top 4-star almost certainly, but the fact that there are no stats or limited information just means the sites have not seen him or have yet to evaluate him.
 
Charles Perkins who is committed.

Then Mack Brown and Michael Dyer. We may not sign another RB.
