official 2009/ 2010 recruiting thread

I'm still not very sold on Ryan White. Synjyn Days looks pretty awesome though.
 
Ryan White is better than Synjyn Days IMO. The kid is so explosive and his arm is way better than Days. I believe White was the number one QB CPJ wanted.
 
Ryan White should be faster. I think his acceleration and top end speed are exactly what we need running the option. That being said, Synjyn is pretty fast too.

I take it that the throwing commment was on arm strength not accuracy. Checked his jr year stats and he had a 47% completion percentage.
 
So, what about this Justin Parker kid at LB? In this defense, we could really use a bigtime difference maker there. I don't know a thing about him, but he's ranked pretty high and Rivals is reporting there is new interest there. We should be able to offer a great chance at early playing time to any stud LB's.
 
Parker would be an awesome pickup. We need something at LB and it didn't help things when Cornelius spurned us for Da 'U. Our only other target, Smelter is baseball all the way.

Ryan White is better all around. Days has some mechanics issues. He's way behind where Tevin was as a true FR. I wouldn't be surprised to see him switch positions in a few years. Ryan White is a playmaker.

He isn't close to be being behind where Tevin was.
 
I've watched Synjyn play a couple times this year and he is way ahead of Tevin. Kid was born to run the option. Hillgrove also has a couple of other backs that would look great in this O
