This is the most anyone will ever talk about Vanderbilt. You really think they’ll ever beat Alabama again in our lifetimes?

If ever there was a year to play them in a bowl, this is it. Tech tends to perform well when they have some kind of spotlight.

Should be a really good game.

yes. Saban is gone, and the portal is closing the massive talent gap between factories and everyone else. Teams like Bama and UGA won’t be going undefeated anymore, and teams like Tech and Vandy will be more competitive by getting the 2nd stringers from factories who want to go somewhere and play. Exciting times we live in

The portal has done a lot to level the field.
 
We’ll see on the portal and leveling the playing field. It will really just realign things based on money. No more Sabans who know how to game the system. Essentially, everyone is now Saban and it is all legal.

There should be some interesting new (old) players like SMU.

It is my responsibility, which is why I got my 50 yard line seats through a broker. So nana-nana boo-boo, stick your head in doo-doo.

They have a good football team and coaches. They are not a fluke. Much like Coach Key, their coach had a plan and curated good assistants and players. I think this is gonna be a great bowl game pitting the 2 giant killers..
