Official Don’t Burn Pyron’s Shirt Petition

Sims has a QB competition to win now. He has to perform this year or sit or transfer out next year. Should motivate him. Pyron can’t burn his shirt on a wasted season this year. Tech can beat UM with Sims. Will probably lose to unc with either Pyron or Sims. Will get destroyed by the mutts with either. Save the shirt.
 
What good is saving a redshirt on a kid this talented? If he keeps this up, he is a serious NFL prospect and would probably leave early..Hes heart and soul out there and needs to start the remainder of the season. You think a guy like him is going to want to ride the bench against the mutts?

Sims has never taken a snap against uGa nor made it through ONE season of ACC play. He has lost the job.

Don’t forget who was quarterbacking when we beat two decent teams in Duke and Pitt. Beating Duke and Pitt this year is a sight more impressive than beating a horrible VT team.

I don’t think he can beat out Pyron next year unless we end up with a Bill Lewis favored QB situation. But Sims shouldn’t agree with that and should be motivated to play and win the job.

Why does the ”going pro” guy always show up at some point when a player shows he is a good player? Very few QB’s get drafted by the NFL each season. And GT hasn’t had a QB drafted in decades. This is college football. Pyron has showed promise as a college QB. That’s it. To burn an entire season of a QB who looks like he will be a good college QB during a season that will never be remembered where everyone will be fired is laughable. It won’t happen. Key isn’t that dumb, Batt isn’t that dumb, Pyron isn’t that dumb, and Pyron‘s dad sure isn’t that dumb.

So please tell me who will be in charge of the football program on the Monday after Thanksgiving when every coach has been let go? The school Prez and AD at a school like GT are in charge way more than any coach. It’s why we have all heard Pastner and Collins suck up to them at every opportunity. I’d love to see a day where the football coach is so powerful (because of wins) that he has the power. Right now, any football coach at GT has less power than the volleyball coach. We are a few weeks away from a new era.
 
Pyron should start the next two games. Then a decision will be required. I am hesitant to play him against the cesspool because they will try to hurt him if possible.
