I was surprised that Jim Donnan wasn't given an extra season when he ended UGAG's losing streak against Tennessee in 2000.
 
Guys.... guys... Kirby is a genius. It's not his fault that Richt's players refuse to listen to him. In 3 years, Kirby will have his own players - 85 Hershel Walkers - and will win multiple national championships.

Proof:
2015 Alabama Wins with Kirby = 14
2016 Alabama Wins without Kirby = 7
Conclusion: Kirby, independently, was 50% of Alabama's success

Proof Richt is a bad coach:
2015 Miami Wins without Richt: 8
2016 Miami Wins with Richt: 4

The UGA President didn't like Donnan and his covering up of Quincy Carter's coke problem. I'm pretty sure Dooley was overruled. Donnan was hired by the previous UGA president so he wasn't one of his guys so he wasn't going to get any benefit of the doubt.
