I was worried what would happen to Smelter's replacement next year, but that makes me feel better. The WR coach has done a pretty bang-up job.

Only if the bowl is one of the semifinal games. If its a year when a bowl is not a semifinal game, conference obligations still apply. This year the Sugar and Rose are the semifinal games
 
Why the öööö did we lose to ööööing Duke.

Highest ranked ACC team goes to the Orange bowl. Doesn't have to be top 14. If we win out it'll be us as long as Duke doesnt win the ACC.
 
I still think Duke could lose to UNC and VT.
