Official post-game bitch session

I'll have more thoughts later but my initial thought is that Coach Key has cost us wins this season, both in team preparation and game management.

I still think he was the right hire and am by no means calling for a change, but we are feeling the burn of a rookie HC.

He’s not HC material. A good recruiter and a good position coach. Time and game management suck.
 
öööö game in every facet except for the Defense, Burr, and Philo. Coaching, play calling, everything on offense. And I’m tired of watching Shanahan see the ööööing field, I’d rather have a walk on sophomore from a fraternity house.

No one should be tagging any players parents. That should be an instant ban.

That said, this is a fan discussion board and player critique shouldn’t be off limits either just because some parents hang around. I was pulling for Pyron, but he’s not getting it done and I think his chance has passed.

I think you could say that about 20 of the past 25 seasons. Tech teams always look like they are trying not to lose instead of playing to win. On the back foot game after game.

I have nothing but respect for Pyron. He played with a ton of heart his freshman year and put the team on his back then. I really don't understand his play as a starter this season. He wasn't getting tunnel screens out on time today, ate the ball on a wide open downfield threat, missed reads in the running game, etc. Just as a whole, he didn't seem poised and in control of the offense. It's a shame because you would think he'd be playing with more confidence and freedom after a season backing up King.
 
Absolutely horrible performance
We have a ways to go to be even slightly below mediocre
The game is changing and it’s going to be a struggle for GT to keep up anyway
Outings like this are simply not going to cut it
In an era of paid players we should have better players
We are the bitch of every team with a pulse
I like Coach Key but I’m not expecting much from him anymore
