And I, too, hate 17 year olds who want to have their 15 minutes of fame on ESPN. I want a roster full of players who don't have cell phones or internet access - full commitment to the Institute 24/7/365. Heck, even players who faxed in their LOIs are too much of prima donnas. Wish we could just get 25 guys who signed their LOIs in a dark, empty room and put it in an envelope with a stamp the old fashioned way. And then went out an had a cream soda afterwards.

You want kids to be good on AND off the field. not at kid who brings disrespect to the TECH program (not saying Autry is this kid, I'm just trying to prove a point).

IMO having a hat ceremony on ESPN is akin to robbing multiple convenience stores while wearing your GT jersey and then keying the Wreck. Plain disrespect.

Don't be a douchebag. This is the biggest moment in a kids life up to this point. Norcross has a big signing ceremony today as I understand it, and he has planned to make his decision public at that time. Let him enjoy the moment. From what I read, his decision has been made.

Humbled by the opportunity to play at GT? Puhleeeze.

What has he done to make you feel that way? Having a hat ceremony? Taking his time to see all of the offers he has available before making the best choice for his career and his family? Fighting back from an injury to have a fantastic performance in the state championship game?

Or did I miss the post about him committing armed robbery or something?

I find myself on NSD rooting for the teams that play the doggies each year to do well, particularly if they usually cannibalize from them more than us. UT fits in this category.

I never felt we had Sawyer, so I feel no pain he went elsewhere.

yes humbled to play at the next level. "biggest moment in his life" yeah right. He's now down to his only option and still acts like he's the real öööö. Kid will be a cancer. He has an overinflated opinion of himself probably bc of douchebags who want to kiss his a$$ before he ever plays a snap in college ball, which by the way is nothing like HS ball. Again it's JMO. I wish him luck I just hope its not at GT.

As long as he is as good as he says he is, who cares? If he really is this special player that he other people thinks he is, than he will be a HUGE get. Some of you guys need to get over this "Tech man" philosophy. I understand its hard to to root for a team full of thugs, but if all we recruit are players of outstanding moral character and who show academic excellence, we'll become Wake Forest pretty quickly.

Worth noting that some on here are labeling Autry undesirable because he is appearing on ESPN. As far as I know we don't have anyone that lacks outstanding moral character.
 
How many 4* and 5* kids are just signing their sheet and faxing it in with no ceremony?

One of our former defensive assistant coaches was famous for pointing out that some of the best defensive lineman to ever put on GT uniforms weren't choir boys and we were kidding ourselves if we thought they were.
