Also .. anyone catch that GT had to petition the ACC in writing just to get the Wreck on the field this year? As if covid spreads by exhaust fumes.

Saw that. Apparently, at first, the ACC wanted an essential field employee to drive it on the field, instead of the wreck driver

Us and FSU for Chief Osceola and Renegade were the only ones they voted to allow. I think the Wreck was already approved but they wanted a staff member that already had on-field approval to drive it. We had to get them to allow the normal wreck driver to allow it and explain they why to them.

yep. you ever driven Model A? My dad and I owned one for about 20 years. Same year as the wreck. It aint easy! it certainly takes some training, especially on getting it started.

My Ranchero has manual 4 wheel drum brakes and no power steering. I warn anyone before driving it "have you ever driven a vehicle without power brakes before?"
 
The no tailgating thing .. anywhere ... is completely ridiculous.

Especially since concessions will be open. If they were so concerned, they would have it "no concessions, go to your seat, bring water with you or we will have them available for sale by a concessionaire in the stands, use the restroom facilities, if necessary, and return to your seat immediately"
