This point is something I’ve thought about a lot. It’s almost like picking up transfer after a RsFr year is the ideal time to do it. Then you can develop the kids with decreased risk they will leave for greener pastures. At some point coaches will realize this and strategize around it.

Go recruit talented, athletic college players with 4 yrs of eligibility remaining and develop them.
