Other Saturday Games

Looking like lots of empty corners at Clemson/Wake. Not a great attendance for them

Early prevent defense on that drive did what that defense usually does - prevent victory. That was the best game I have seen in a long time. OU and UT fans and players will regret leaving the Big 12 for the SEC. they had a good thing going right where they are with other good rivalries. Of course, those who count the money will be delighted.

I don't see how either really needed the money, unless they are playing the eventual reduction to a 32 team league where a lot of teams are relegated to playing a lower league of football, including us

It’s a breath of fresh air to see the parity in CFB so far this year. For all the whining about the Portal and NIL, there is no true #1 this year. I thought Texas was the closest thing to #1. Now OU enters the mix. Any of the following have a legit shot at the CFP:

Michigan, Ohio State, PSU, Oklahoma, Texas (will get a 2nd shot at OU), FSU, Oregon, Washington, ND, uga.

Outside looking in:

USC - Defense will cost them.
Alabama - No room for error. Issues at QB, OL will cost them a 2nd loss.
UNC - Very flawed team.
Miami - Still a ??? on how good they are. Nice win over TAMU helps.

This year an expanded playoff would be the bomb. So far, no real clear one or two dominant teams.

Quite possibly the worst slate of 3:30 games all year. Pretty much Bama-TAMU is all that’s on outside of Marshall-NCSU and if anyone has the P12N Wazzou-UCLA.

They hung 38 on us moving up and down the field at will and so far have been shut out in one half against Miami, OH.

I really, really hope Tech comes out fighting today, but I am concerned there is something rotten going on in the program.

Might could be. We'll find out soon enough.

202-52 total yards.

Today presents a new day, a new game, a new opportunity to do something positive. As @MACHETE said, we’ll find out in a few hours.

VT runs 2nd half kickoff back to da house. Dude was flying. Where can we get one of those?

ND won't have a chance by not having a conf championship game to win.

I think it'll be Big 1x champ, SEC Champ, big 12 champ ( assuming OU or TX) & the highest of either Pac12 champ or ACC champ.
