I suppose you’re right. They aren’t the most amoral people around. They just have far less character and moral fiber than most people seem to realize. I reached this opinion slowly over years of drunken gang rapes, drunk driving incidents, domestic violence, murder and hit men accusations, etc. essentially athletes grow up in an environment that is violent, competitive and testosterone fueled with little to no repercussions for their actions given their wealth or potential to gain massive wealth. Not a good recipe for moral behavior.I’m not sure how you reached your opinion that college and pro sports people are some of the most amoral people around. I would rate them somewhat in the middle. Slightly below truck drivers and teachers and slightly above insurance agents and bankers. As for the surprise of the reaction, how would you feel if you had invested time and money in this program and found out that this idiocy was being ignored if not encouraged?
As for the second comment, I think I would say these allegations sound worse than they are.
