Right, there are names with those initials, but why do those people not go by GJ or WJ? As far as I can tell from your links those people don't call themselves GJ or WJ.

I call them that. When I say WJ, people know immediately that I am referring to Walter Jenkins.

I see your point. My wonder was more why people don't call themselves that.

AJ, BJ, CJ, DJ, JJ, KJ, OJ, PJ, TJ, are all common. EJ is out there (EJ Manuel) as well.

In general, the letter preceding the J has to end in a "y" sound. That would rule out F, H, L, M, N, R, S, U, W, and X. The two exceptions to that rule would be M (Michael Jordan) and R (RJ Reynolds) and even then, you don't see many RJ's.

GJ sounds stupid because "Gee" and "Jay" sound too much alike.
There are very few names, in general that start with I, Q, U, V, or Z. Thought there is a "Vijay" on the PGA tour (and on MTV.)

wonder no more...

What in the hell have y'all stupided up this thread for?

Personal I like a nice PJ.

Footy if possible.

All this talk of various Js made me skov my jeans
