PJ and Uniform Changes

Do you guys see PJ making a change to GT uni's. I personally would like to see the white helmet make a comeback or navy blue home unis. Any changes you guys would like to see?

Absolutely, positively would LOVE to see the white helmets return. The Throwback Thursday uniform from last year with the white helmet, OLD Gold Jersey and the white pants was fantastic and looked great on TV. Many, many clemson fans (up here in Greenville, SC) commented to me on how good those looked.

I wouldn't mind the uniforms we wore in the acc title game last year as our home uniform (gold helmet, navy jersey, white pants with gold/navy stripe). And use our current away uniform (Gold helmet, white jersey, gold pants).

But I love the white helmet!:biggthumpup:

I fully agree chewreck, Throwback thursday uniforms. White helmets, throwback gold jerseys, and white pants. I like the throwback gold better anyway.

The throwback jerseys last year were the coolest uniforms I think I've ever seen.

I love the throwbacks and the players did too. It might be a while before we know for sure on uniforms for the upcoming season.

I think I remember someone posting a quote from PJ a while back stating "he didn't want his team looking like a bunch of french fries..."

If this is true, it rules out any gold jerseys.

The return of the navy jerseys would be great, but I could live with keeping our current gold ones.

If we do bring the blues back, I'd like to see us wear white pants with them, as well as the 1992-94 blue shirt/gold pants combo on occasions.

And could we please, PLEASE finally fix the the stripes on the sides of the gold pants...am I the only one that thinks a navy/white/navy stripe would look better on the gold pants than this?

That stripe combo looks just fine on the white pants...

...just not on the gold pants.

I believe the navy blue jerseys would be best. with white pants though b/c with gold pants we'd look like ND.

the throwback jerseys were TOO gold. almost like UWV's bright highlighter yellow uniforms. ugh.

I hope to never see the piss yellow jerseys again. If we're gonna go gold go throwbacks. Otherwise I'd be fine with whites all the time or blues at home.

I'm not a fan of the dark jerseys. This being the south and all, it makes more sense to me to wear white and let the opposing team boil over in their dark colors.

I'm also not a fan of the throwbacks. The players looked like they fell in a vat of mustard.

I just hope CPJ doesn't go to all white ala Georgia Southern.

If we go with gold tops then I like the throwbacks that we used last year...they looked great.

I wouldn't mind the navy jerseys, either. As long as we switch away from the piss yellow ones we've used the last couple of years. Ugh.
