:bowrofl: Worst Russian accent ever.

I think the read option is something many schools can implement with the right body type at QB. Tennessee has their QB of the future, and they'll be just fine.

It's still tough for AD's to take that sort of chance, especially at a possible factory. I looked back to December 2007 threads and a lot of our fans were unhappy with the hire. Even when an AD ends up laying an egg with a hire like Muschamp or Kiffin, it's less risky for their job security.

What's interesting is how Malzahn and some other option coaches out of the shotgun are fine with AD's. I guess the QB runs a little less in those offenses and pass a little more. Selling out to the option, with fewer passes like CPJ, is too risky. Even though many of those passes are freaking screens instead of pitches.

What may happen is the "coaching tree" of CPJ like Monken will get hired by a mid-tier school, somebody like NC State or Kentucky. CPJ wouldn't leave for a lateral move like that, but Monken would certainly leave Army.

CPJ's coaching tree is just the GT coach farming system for when he retires.
