50/50 meaning 50% empty? 10k GT fans and 15k KSU fans. That last part of the press conference was terrible and I hope GTAD has some people reading this board and reporting back to the powers that be. That was absolutely a fair question, what do you say to the fans. He could have taken it any number of directions, just simply say "I know the fans expect more, we expect more of ourselves and we are going to work every week to earn their support." Instead to just say nothing like it was a stupid question, it makes him look out of his league which unfortuantely he is...

NIU was in max protect and threw the ball like 14 times total, getting it out quickly when they did. Not really conducive to getting a ton of sacks

We had 1 QB hurry. That’s hot garbage. Sacking is one thing. Not being able to be in the same zip code the entire game is crap - against a team that recruits in the 90s and 100s.

If we couldn’t do better than that against NIU, then there’s no hope at all for the improvement we were promised when the competition ramps up.

That means fewer receivers to cover yet our DB's could not cover them. I am beginning to suspect that our DB's are over rated.
On the other hand the DB's do make more tackles on running plays than our defensive linemen.

Surprised that one of the reporters didn’t ask Thacker if they are practicing without the ball. I’ve always thought it made more sense to practice with 4 or 5 balls.
 
I cringe every time UCS brings up his storied success at Temple. Can someone explain this to me? An 8-4 record with one loss to an FCS team (3 wins over teams with winning records). That's the highest bar of excellence?

Just made me sick to my stomach that there is a legit chance that KSU could outnumber us in our stadium this Saturday. How freaking embarrassing and sad.

@JJacket is a sidewalk fan. But nobody would think he’s a fair weather fan.

I was kinda drunk at the end but I remember two things...

1. we were yelling “Run the ball” at the tv...
