Pruitt to Miami

Richt went first and sewed up his contract. Then he hooked up Pruitt with the Miami DC position, and Pruitt flew down to contract it up. This is way too logical to not be what it is.

More logical: recruiting trip, poster confused Pruitt with an industrial pump salesman, Richt turned down job, Pruitt getting legitimate interview, Richt ran out of spray tan

Next step: Eason.

Love this Saban conspiracy theory posted there:

"When will you guys learn? You think it's a coincidence that Saban's former staff members are destroying other teams?

Pruitt is just the latest in a long line of Saban disciples to cause a mess at other SEC schools. Notice how Saban's boys never wind up at Kentucky or Vandy or MooState? They only wind up at schools that could challenge Alabama for SEC supremacy.

Former Sabanite Derek Dooley set UTk back more so than the Kiffin one and done--honestly, have you ever seen a coach less deserving of a top 25 job? Ever? And notice how Kiffin was down on his luck-- CFB pariah--and Saban just so happens to give him a job? Reward money for leaving Knoxville in flames. Who hired the current flop artist in Knoxville, Bitch Jones? That's right--former Alabama grad and employee, AD Mike Hart.

On the off chance Alabama plays Florida in the regular season or the SECCG, Saban got Muschamp to go torpedo that program. Hell, he was head coach in waiting at Texas and he still left to be the guy living in Urban Meyers' shadow. Now Boom is ruining Auburn's defense; going from preseason title contender to Arkansas-level irrelevance. Coincidence? I think not.

LSU fans should be waiting for the other shoe to drop with Steele. He is a much better coach than Chavis, but it will never show because Saban is pulling the strings.

Jim McElwain is the lone coach that went rogue on Saban. He went to UF and turned it around. But his hubris was his Achilles heel. Saban, the REC, and by extension the NCAA "randomly" decided to test a former backup QB for PEDs.

Wake up people!"

TL;DR: Saban can melt steel beams.

I am hearing that Pruitt will be fired today after an altercation. Rumor is he has been trying to take over the program from the inside - hiring his own coordinators and weight coach, pushing coaches out physically and politically, and the whole thing is just a mess. Pruitt has been trying to fight players and coaches, and he has been trying to position for the head coaching position, and he got canned. Rumor is his desk is already cleared and he will be out by the end of the week.

Richt's 2015 fallboy

Pretty funny considering their defense has been the only consistently decent part of the team

I am hearing now that after the loss to Florida this weekend, McGarity either called or had a meeting with Richt directly. In that meeting, he gave Richt an ultimatum. "Fix the problems with your staff." Pruitt was an obvious out. Sounds like the power brokers at Georgia were more interested in cleaning up the program than firing Richt. There are some other concerns at other positions - Schottenheimer is getting nervous. That all appears to be rumor at this time, though. It sounds like Pruitt was a big time problem.

Between chasing co-eds at Alabama and FSU, and fighting his staff at Georgia, Pruitt has left only bad news everywhere he's gone.

Aren't the staff problems on the offensive side of the ball?

That is beautiful.

The legal team at Georgia has put together a case to fire Pruitt with cause. They won't owe him a dime on his contract.
