I think you play Pyron now, if Sims comes back, start him and let Pyron be no 2 - unless we’re getting slaughtered- then put Gibson in instead and sit Pyron.
I’m not ready to give up on not getting another good QB for 4 years either by transfer or hs recruiting

Yes, he threw a ball 10 yds to Calvin Johnson who broke a couple arm tackles and ran 30 more yds to endzone. It's memorable when your first pass is a td, but after that the game was a yawner particularly at the QB position.

That dude is exhausting. Don’t respond to him is the best approach.
 
Sims should probably sit or be 2nd string until whatever his injury is, is 100% recovered. Sims game takes a big hit when he is hobbled. He needs his speed more than the typical QB to have confidence and be successful.
 
Pyron is our starter now. The page has been turned, or it better be.

We haven’t had a real QB since Thomas graduated. That was 7 years ago. When you find one you gotta keep them as long as possible.

Speaking of which, just looked him up. Undrafted, picked up for a practice squad for 1 season then cut. Went to an Oklahoma arena football team for a season. Now works as a fitness instructor.

Active on Twitter and roots for Tech. Doesn’t seem to have inside knowledge on the program.

Start Sims (if healthy) if we run away with the game, don't play Pyron. It is for his own good anyway, even if he does decide to transfer at some point. Don't blow his extra season at this point

Exactly. Don’t worry about the portal. Either the new coach can retain him or not.

But, don’t burn a tear of eligibility for one game unless it is getting you a bowl. It could be that down the road you need a redshirt year to cover an injury.

Then stop posting Deion garbage you have no clue about. I look at actions not words. Deion chose to take a job in a league that is barely considered college football. And he forced his son to go with him instead of letting him go somewhere to actually compete. All this stuff he is talking about the SWAC and HBCU’s is just not real. The other HBCU’s coaches know it and are starting to call him out. He is using them to get his son drafted. He knows his son isn’t good enough to get playing time in a big time P5 program so he’s using them to run up stats and then the NFL will be forced to draft him. It’s all a scam. Give it time and everyone will see. In the meanwhile, he’ll play the press so his son gets an invite to the Heisman ceremony next year and some P5 team will hire him as soon as his son is gone. Then Deion will be exposed as a coach and his son will be quietly cut.
