I think he already quit.Settle down Francis, Sims is the starter unless he quits.

Says a lot about him if he did.I think he already quit.
Our star RB last year quit with two games to play. Nobody seems to think he did anything wrong.Says a lot about him if he did.
Some of us did.Our star RB last year quit with two games to play. Nobody seems to think he did anything wrong.
Calm your tits. We ain't winning the next 3 games. Even if we somehow pull that off, we aren't beating Georgia. So playing Pyron in all 4 games is just stupid.
I absolutely don’t think Gibbs did anything wrong. And I absolutely don’t think Sims is doing anything wrong. Everyone should do what they think is in their best interest. But the difference in those two young men is that we’ll be watching Gibbs on Sundays in the future and we won’t even remember Sims name in the future. Our star RB last year quit with two games to play. Of course you don’t. Players can throw their teammates under the bus whenever they want.I absolutely don’t think Gibbs did anything wrong. And I absolutely don’t think Sims is doing anything wrong. It's been alluded to already, but the real question in this 'brave new world' of NIL and transfer portal free agency, is why would a program red shirt anybody who's good enough to see the field, irregardless of class ? Why save a year for SOMEONE ELSE to reap the benefit of transferred experience ?
Get them on the field, you don't know how long you're going to have them.
Because the percentages tell us that the vast majority of players do not transfer. In Pyron‘s case we have to ask what is the benefit vs, the cost to our program if we burn the redshirt? In my opinion this season is a bust. I don’t think we’ll win another game. Our play is deteriorating and our opponents see us as a win. And even if we win a game or two more what does it matter? No recruit is going to do a thing until they know who the next coach is. So I say we save a potential QB for the 2026 instead of letting him get destroyed against UGA or Miami, or UNC. This entire era will be forgotten the day after Thanksgiving. It's been alluded to already, but the real question in this 'brave new world' of NIL and transfer portal free agency, is why would a program red shirt anybody who's good enough to see the field, irregardless of class ? Guess I'm still drunk cause I still think we can beat VT, Maimi, and unc
If we only win one or two of the next games it won't matter. But, should we win 3 we finish at least 6-6 and can have a winning season and a bowl victory. Recruits see that and decide GT is a place they can win again. That matters.Because the percentages tell us that the vast majority of players do not transfer. We still remember Reggie Ball’s name.I absolutely don’t think Gibbs did anything wrong. And I absolutely don’t think Sims is doing anything wrong. In what world are you living to think a program that hasn’t won 3 in a row for 3 plus years is going to get to 6 wins in November? Listen, I’d love to see that happen but have you not seen the last 2 games? We got the interim coach boost but are now back to what we are. I’d be shocked if we win another game. VT and Miami have us circled because we are seen as everyone else’s best chance of a win. And unfortunately it looks like a lot of our players have checked out by the lack of effort by many the past 2 weeks. If we only win one or two of the next games it won't matter. But, should we win 3 we finish at least 6-6 and can have a winning season and a bowl victory. Recruits see that and decide GT is a place they can win again. That matters.
So you're saying he's faking an injury? Or are you saying he should play through his injury? There are injuries you can play through but it's not the best idea if you want to fully heal.I think he already quit.
Amazeballs that folks to this day blame Gailey for letting Hollings play after getting dinged up, ruining his record breaking season, but expect Sims to shred his leg in homage to their fanhood. So you're saying he's faking an injury? I'd agree that faking an injury or its severity is quitting, but not sure what evidence we have to support that.
Yep, this historical double standard occurred to me too.Amazeballs that folks to this day blame Gailey for letting Hollings play after getting dinged up, ruining his record breaking season, but expect Sims to shred his leg in homage to their fanhood.
