Hard to be objective with the emotions still high from last night, but here's a stab at my top 10. Where's this one rank for you - games you've seen in person?

#1 GT v UGA 1999
#2 GT v FSU 2015
#3 GT v UGA 2014
#4 GT v UGA 2008
#5 GT v UVA 1998
#6 GT v FSU 2008
#7 GT v Clemson 2000
#8 GT v VT 2009
#9 GT v Clemson 2011
#10 GT v Auburn 2003

Hard to rank because the more recent ones you remember more intensely.

I was there for most of the ones you that you listed, but I'll give you just my top two today:
1. Uga 2014 (tearing down hedges after the game and walking out of the stadium taunting the crowd--priceless!).
2. FSU 2015

Uga 99 is my #1. This was a close 2nd. Notre Dame in Gator was pretty awesome.

Well this is where I guess I'll have to admit I didn't go last night. Most of you know I have a new job and its all I have plus some energy wise and I haven't adjusted yet. So after doing highschool football game and post game show for a local radio station Im not getting home till 2am Saturday morning and not having seasons tickets is forcing my hand. So I admit I woke up and went right back to sleep originally intending on attending. I'm not a fair weather fan at all, but I do feel a little better not going to games at 2-5. I am adjusting sleep schedule wise still and just didn't have the energy yesterday. With that being said I am greatful for my great Georgia Tech friends and hope to see you guys soon.

Here are my top ten games I've seen in person. I've been to 63 GT football games of all time and hold an all-time record of 41-22 (24-11) and 33-22 in games that aren't against FCS teams. So I have a decent track record. I am 37-13 all time in BDS. Quick note, i am on a 7 game win streak with my last lost I attended being the Music City Bowl. The 9 games i went to from 01-05 don't make this list. Though I did see some good ones during that time. Including the FSU loss in '02.

The List:
(10) 2011 Clemson. Huge win after two bad losses in a row
(9) 2006 Maryland. Back and forth, crowd noise caused a lot of issues
(8) 2012 VT. First long road trip for me, great emotional game.
(7) 2010 Georgia. Should have won this one. Missed XP killed us
(6) 2006 Miami. One of the best environments I can remember
(5) 2007 UNC. This is the most nervous I have EVER been. We should not have won this one.
(4) 2009 Clemson. Jarrard Tarrant, Anthony Allen, Scott Blair.
(3) 2009 Virginia Tech. Best BDS experience I have ever had.
(2) 2008 UGA. My first UGA win I attended. Was still in highschool and remember being happier than I had ever been in my life.
(1) 2014 UGA. Easily the best football game I have ever seen. Combined with the Sanford Stadium experience and 90 thousand sad dawgs.

If I had been to the FSU game it would easily top this list.

Also FWIW, I have been a die hard GT fan since 2001. Didn't go to more than four games in a season until 2006 so my list covers a smaller time table than some of you i'd imagine.

1. 2009 VPISU
2. 2008 UGA
3. 2011 Clemson
4. 2014 OB
5. 2009 ACCCG
6. 2009 Clemson

etc.

I missed the 2008 and 2015 FSU games...

In order:

2011 Clemson
2008 FSU
2009 Clemson
2009 FSU
2014 Miami
2015 Notre Dame (just an awesome experience being at ND...)

Clemson 2004 was amazing. No one go to that one?

One of the few I missed in person. Definitely deserves mention.

I couldn't do a top 10.

My list would include 2000 Clemson, 99 U(sic)GA, 14 U(sic)GA, 11 Clemson, 08 Miami, 09 VT, 08 FSU, 14 VT, 09 Wake (sad to say...), last night...

All of them were close games or games we were heavy dogs...

I have been trying to collect as many games as are available on film so we can have this discussion and back it up.

Nothing will ever top 2004 Clemson for me, but last night came really close.

Not in any particular order after the first few:
1. 2004 Clemson
2. 2015 FSU
3. 2014 UGA
4. 2008 UGA
5. 1999 UGA
6. 1998 UGA
7. 2009 VPI
8. 2008 FSU
9. 2003 Auburn
10. 2011 Clemson
11. 2005 Auburn
12. 1998 Notre Dame
13. 2000 UGA

1) Georgia in 2008
I wasn't able to attend last year's game so it would take something incredibly special to surpass this game. The way we played in the second half to not only beat Georgia but to prevent them from matching our 8 win streak record, doing it in their house on Larry Munson Deification Day, and punching the last trace tastes of their preseason national championship right out of their mouths? That feeling will be very difficult to top.

2) Clemson, ACCCG in 2009
A phenomenal, nerve-destroying game for our first outright ACC title in nearly 20 years. Tampa was great, Raymond James Stadium was great, the fans, the atmosphere, everything seemed perfect. The explosion of euphoria that occurred when Morgan sealed the win with that final tackle is something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

3) Florida State in 2008
Beating Florida State for the first time in my life and doing it the way we did when it seemed like they were about to snatch one away from us like they always had, it was poetic. I still haven't witnessed an explosion at BDS to match the one that came at the moment we recovered that fumble.

4) Virginia Tech in 2009
The atmosphere that night was special. All The Way Turnt Up made its debut, Kam Chancellor turned out not to be a prophet, Nesbitt was a beast, and that huge TD run of his had Bobby Dodd completely electric. That entire season was full of heart-stopping moments and watching Nesbitt tightrope into the endzone was one of the best.

1999 UGA is my #1.

The rest: 1998 UVA, 1998 UGA, 1998 Gator Bowl, 2009 ACCCG, 2008 FSU, 2008 UGA, can't remember many more after those that were just awesome.

I wasn't there last night, but in my opinion 2008 FSU ranks higher only because we looked like we were definitely losing the game in 2008. I still had hope last night that FSU's kicker would miss a career long field goal. That was no chip shot. In 2008 FSU was on our 5 yard line with time to punch it in and the entire stadium had chalked up the loss.

For me nothing tops the 1976 win over ND 23 - 14. 368 yards rushing with no pass attempts. Gary Lanier dropped back once and was sacked.

This one topped 2009 VPI in my opinion.

1) 2015 FSU
2) 2009 VPI
3) 2008 FSU
4) 2009 @FSU
5) 2008 Miami
6) 1999 UVA
7) 2006 Maryland (IMO loudest single moment I can remember at BDS until maybe last night)
8) 2003 Auburn
9) 2011 Clemson
10) 2005 @Auburn

Couple others: 2011 UNC, 2009 Wake, 2008 @Clemson

Didn't get to go to 2008 or 2014 UGA. Dad wouldn't take me to UGA games growing up after we went to 1997 game

This is why, even outside the parameters of the thread, 2008 still tops this year for me. The frustration of always coming so close to beating Florida State for so many years and with the likes of Joe Hamilton, Dez White, Godsey, Campell, Claybrooks, Gathers, etc. is still the only thing that's ever come close to the frustration of losing to Georgia. I imagine it's fizzled somewhat for a lot of people who didn't suffer through it but the hatred for Florida State is much, much deeper than their fans just being assholes.

The most excruciating losses since I've been a Tech fan that I witnessed in person was a tie between 1993 FSU and 1997 UGA.
